ÖKO Fro-Yo -- the New Kid in Town
Snack on Oko frozen yogurt, a Park Slope fave that just opened in the East Village (137 First Avenue; 212-228-3321). The environmentally friendly shop (the name means “eco” in Hungarian) uses all-natural ingredients and toppings and bio-packaging, so you can lose any guilty weight. ÖKO's Mission Statement: "We simply want to share our passion on good food and a good environment."
Oh, and in case you were wondering, ÖKO means ECO in several European languages.
